POP UP exchange 2024 (de)

POP UP exchange geht in die zweite Runde: mit unserem bewährten Präsentationsformat POP UP suchen wir diesmal den Austausch mit Akteur:innen des Tanznetz Freiburg, dem tanz_netzwerk_bremen und dem ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main.

Zur Information: POP UP Formate sind in Inhalt und Aufbau vielfältig und eigenständig. Sie repräsentieren das TanzNetzDresden als Netzwerk einer heterogenen professionell arbeitenden freien Tanzszene in der Stadt Dresden. Mit den POP UPs initiieren wir immer wieder neue innerstädtische Kooperationen und bringen somit den Tanz an noch unbetanzte Orte.

Gesucht werden für POP UP exchange 2024 jeweils eine Performer:in aus Freiburg, Frankfurt und Bremen, drei Performer:innen aus Dresden.

Für den POP UP exchange werden die drei Dresdner:innen jeweils mit einer überregionalen Gäst:in zusammengebracht, mit der sie wahrscheinlich bisher nicht gearbeitet haben.  Die drei Performance-Duos, inspirierend und überraschend durch den neuen künstlerischen Austausch, werden kleine POP UP Performances realisieren. Diese sind explizit keine geprobten Arbeiten, sondern Improvisationen, die in gemeinsamer Absprache durch Scores, gewählte Musik oder ähnliches inspiriert sind.

POP UP exchange 2024 – Ablauf & Ausschreibung

Am 25.10.2024 ist Anreisetag. Wir treffen uns am frühen Abend für ein gemeinsames Abendessen und ein erstes Kennenlernen, danach besuchen wir gemeinsam die Studio Round  in der TENZA mit Beiträgen aus Dresden, Freiburg und Frankfurt. Am  26. Oktober 2024 gibt es morgens im Studio TENZA Zeit für Try-Outs, danach finden die POP UP exchanges in Dresden an verschiedenen Orten statt. Ende ca. 16 Uhr. (Eine Doppelbewerbung mit einem Beitrag zur Studio Round Edition in Dresden ist somit nicht möglich.)

Das Event wird dokumentiert und danach den Beteiligten zur Verfügung gestellt.

Als Honorar können pro Beitrag und pro Person 350 Euro gezahlt werden. Für die Künstler:innen von außerhalb wird zudem die An-und Abreise sowie Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte übernommen.  Alles Weitere nach Absprache.

Eure Bewerbung sollte folgende Informationen beinhalten:

  • Erläuterung zur Motivation (in welcher Form spricht euch das Format an)
  • Kontakt: Vorname, Nachname, Straße und Hausnummer, PLZ und Stadt, E-Mail adresse, Telefonnummer
  • Referenzen in Form von Bild / und Videomaterial (bitte nur Links, keine Downloads)

POP UP exchange 2024 (en)

Our second format returning after the summer break is POP UP exchange. Find out more about everything coming up, the details of the already running submission phase and the corresponding date on October 26, 2024 in today’s blog post. (scroll up for german version)

POP UP exchange is going into a second round: with our established presentation format POP UP, we are seeking exchanges this time with members of Tanznetz Freiburg, tanz_netzwerk_bremen and ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main.

For your information: POP UP formats are diverse and unique in both content and structure. They represent TanzNetzDresden as a network of a heterogeneous, professionally active independent dance scene in the city of Dresden. With the POP UPs, we continually initiate new inner-city collaborations, bringing dance to places that have not yet experienced it.

For POP UP exchange 2024, we are seeking one performer each from Freiburg, Frankfurt, and Bremen, three performers from Dresden

For the POP UP exchange, the three Dresden performers will each be paired with an out-of-town guest performer, likely someone they have not worked with before. These three performance duos, inspired and surprised by the new artistic exchange, will create small POP UP performances. These are explicitly not rehearsed works but improvisations inspired by scores, chosen music, or similar arrangements.

October 25 is arrival day, we will get together for dinner and a getting to know each other. Later in the evening, we will attend the Studio Round at TENZA with contributions from Dresden, Freiburg and Frankfurt. On October 26, there is studio time for warm-up,  rehearsals, try outs and afterwards the POP UP exchanges will take place during in Dresden at various locations. End of day approx. 4 pm.  (A double application with a contribution to the Studio Round Edition in Dresden is therefore not possible).

The event will be documented and made available to the participants afterward. An honorarium of 350 EUR per contribution per person will be paid. For artists from outside Dresden, travel and accommodation for 1-2 nights will also be covered. Further details will be discussed individually.

The submission should include the following:

  • Motivation explanation (in what form does the format appeal to you)
  • Contact: First name, last name, street and house number, postal code and city, e-mail address, telephone number
  • Pronouns
  • References in the form of image and video material (please only links, no downloads).
