POP UP EXCHANGE

Wir freuen uns mitzuteilen, dass das TanzNetzDresden in Kooperation mit ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main, tanz_netzwerk_bremen und Tanznetz Freiburg und in Zusammenarbeit mit den Locations TENZA, ZENTRALWERK und STUDIO 56 das Programm unseres diesjährigen Formats POP UP exchange präsentiert, welche am 26. Oktober 2024 in Dresden stattfinden wird.

Die Jury von POP UP exchange bestand aus jeweils zwei Koordinator:innen und Tanzkünstler:innen der genannten Kooperationsnetzwerke, die sämtliche Bewerbungen gesichtet und über die finalen Teilnehmer:innen entschieden haben. 

Das nun am 26. Oktober 2024 stattfindende Format POP UP exchange wird nacheinander in drei verschiedenen Dresdner Stadtteilen Performances mit und von Gästen aus Freiburg, Frankfurt am Main und Bremen präsentieren. Die einzelnen Veranstaltungsorte sind die TENZA in der Johannstadt, das ZENTRALWERK in Pieschen und das STUDIO 56 in der Neustadt.

Für die POP UP exchange Performances werden hierbei drei Dresdner:innen jeweils mit einer überregionalen Gäst:in zusammengebracht, mit der sie bisher noch nicht gearbeitet haben. Die drei daraus resultierenden Performance-Duos, inspirierend und überraschend durch den neuen künstlerischen Austausch, werden kurze öffentlich aufgeführte POP UP Performances entwickeln und präsentieren. Diese sind explizit keine erprobten Arbeiten, sondern Improvisationen, die in gemeinsamer Absprache durch Scores, gewählte Musik oder ähnliches inspiriert sind.

Explizit hinweisen möchten wir außerdem darauf, dass nur einen Tag vorher (25.10.2024) in der TENZA das öffentliche Format TNDD studio round stattfindet. Auch die TNDD studio round findet in diesem Jahr in Kooperation mit dem ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main und dem Tanznetz Freiburg statt.

We are pleased to announce that TanzNetzDresden, in cooperation with ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main, tanz_netzwerk_bremen and Tanznetz Freiburg and in collaboration with the venues TENZA, ZENTRALWERK and STUDIO 56, presents the program of this year’s POP UP exchange format, which will take place in Dresden on 26 October 2024.

The POP UP exchange jury consisted of two coordinators and dance artists from each of the aforementioned cooperation networks, who reviewed all applications and decided on the final participants.

The POP UP exchange format, which will now take place on October 26, 2024, will present performances with and by guests from Freiburg, Frankfurt am Main and Bremen in three different districts of Dresden. The individual venues are TENZA in Johannstadt, ZENTRALWERK in Pieschen and STUDIO 56 in Neustadt.

For the POP UP exchange performances, three Dresdeners will each be brought together with a supra-regional guest with whom they have never worked before. The three resulting performance duos, inspired and surprised by the new artistic exchange, will develop and present short public POP UP performances. These are explicitly not tried and tested works, but improvisations inspired by scores, selected music or similar in joint consultation.

We would also like to explicitly point out that the public format TNDD studio round will take place at TENZA just one day before (25.10.2024). This year’s TNDD studio round will also take place in cooperation with ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main and Tanznetz Freiburg.
