Special week with Tomas Bünger at KEEP UP Profi-Training • April 22 to 26, 2024 • TENZA Schmiede

In April, we will be offering a special week with Tomas Bünger at the TENZA Schmiede from April 22 to 26 as part of the KEEP UP training. More information about this very special offer can be found in today’s blog post, which as always will be published in German and English.

Tomas Bünger

Tomas Bünger studied classical and modern stage dance and was a member of the Tanztheater Bremen for many years. He then completed an integrative dance teacher training program in New York and was a guest lecturer at the University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. He has been teaching for many years with the support of the Goethe-Institut in Bangladesh and has been a resident in Togo and Romania. He works regularly with Theater Bremen, tanzbar_bremen and the company „of courious nature“. His choreographic works for professionals and amateurs focus on the dancing person and their relationship to the world.

Special week with Tomas Bünger at TNDD training

Tomas Bünger’s training is based on his many years of experience as a performer with a wide variety of choreographers. Dance as a physical expression oscillates between the attempt to find oneself in a learned movement and the possibility of individual expression. One’s own body explores its relationship to inner and outer space and enters into a dialog with other bodies. After a gentle beginning with influences from yoga, it continues through short dance phrases to more expansive sequences and ends in an improvisation as an experience of resonance.
