Dancer & Teacher

Giulia Russo is an Italian freelance dancer based in Dresden. She started her dance education at Studio76 in Brescia. In 2017, she took part in the Biennale College Danza in Venice, under the direction of Marie Chouinard, where she focused on improvisation techniques and somatic approaches. She then joined Elephant in the Black Box Junior Company in Madrid. At the same time, she began working with the Spanish company Kor’sia, participating in multiple productions (until 2022) and international tours (currently). She moved to Dresden in 2022, and since then she dances for the local company Miller de Nobili and for the Cooperativa Maura Morales (Düsseldorf), working also as an assistant for the company production “Shame”(2024) and for their last creation “La Folia”, for BallettGraz.
