Aurora Fradella

Dancer & Choreographer

Born in 1992 in Italy, she started her dancing training in her home town, Palermo, at the Aurino & Beltrame dance school and then with the teachers Melissa McKey (graduated from the Royal ballet School in London) and Lilli Russo. She continued her studies by following various courses at the Ecole Superieure de Danse Rossella Hightower in France and to follow she joined the junior company of the Massimo Theater of Palermo. She completed her studies in classical and contemporary dance at the Balletto di Toscana of Florence. After, she joined the specialization courses in Italy at Ater Balletto and at the Zappalá dance Company directed by Roberto Zappalá (MoDem AD & PRO) and later in Israel participating in the „Dance Journey Program“ of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, dancing choreographies by Rami Be’er, Martin Harriague, Matk Ek and many others. In the following years she dedicated herself into teaching and choreography, also obtaining the Best Young Choreographer Duo award at the SOLO / DUO festival in Cologne/Germany. In 2016 she worked with the „Cie Essevesse“ of Marseille / France and with the choreographer Lorand Zachar of Rotterdam / Netherlands. The same year she became a soloist of Prague Chamber Ballet in Czech Republich, dancing for various choreographers including Jiri Pokorny and Lukas Timulak. Since 2018 she is a permanent solo member of the Landesbühnen Sachsen dance company in Germany.
